Yujiro Kushida is officially an NXT superstar (VIDEO)

The former NJPW star, Kushida, has officially signed with WWE and will be competing on the NXT brand.

The Japanese wrestler was unveiled when signing a contract in New York earlier in the day.

"This is a day of great pride for us here today," said NXT General Manager William Regal, alongside his latest acquisition. "We finally managed to convince the superstar, Kushida, to join NXT."

Triple H described Kushida as "one of the biggest international stars in the world" and said that he "could not be more excited" about signing.
