Unai Emery admits that Arsenal will struggle to shell out 75 million pounds on a player – as Liverpool has signed to Virgil van Dijk – but that the Gunners have to spend this summer to improve their team.
As it was demonstrated in January, when Arsenal could only lend players, the money is relatively tight in the north of London, but things will improve by the season 2019-2020 thanks to the new commercial agreements of the club with Adidas and Emirates.
In the current state of affairs, the club is working on a transfer budget of around £ 45 million, but that will increase if the Emery team is committed to protecting the Champions League football.
