Flowking Stone, an award-winning hiplife artist, invites music lovers in the Ashanti region to push for the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) to take place in Garden City.
The artist who was a special guest from the time of Hummer on Pure Morning Drive at Kumasi-based Pure Fm said that music lovers in the Ashanti region needed to have a common voice to convince VGMA organizers of 39th, organize the event in kumasi.

After seven years off, Charterhouse Productions Ghana, organizer of the VGMA, is delighted with the return of Nominees Jam to Kumasi.
The last time the Jam Nominees Jam was held in the Ashanti region dates back to 2012, with programming bringing together some of the biggest names in Ghanaian music. Okyeame Kwame, Buk Bak, Jay Stay, Christy Obaapa, Kofi Sarpong SP, Kwaw Kesse and many others. Since then, the candidate party train has visited the northern, central and western regions, the Brong Ahafo region, the Volta region and other places.
