Chelsea's NGolo Kante midfielder is exactly the kind of player that Bayern Munich will seek to target this summer, according to German club badistant coach Robert Kovac.
The 28-year-old has carved out the reputation of being one of the best defensive midfielders in the world, at the base of recent Premier League wins for Chelsea and Leicester and played a leading role among the winners of the French World Cup.
Kante signed a new contract in November, a new contract worth a record £ 290,000 a week. Maurizio Sarri asked him to play a slightly different role following Jorginho's signing with £ 57 million.
Manchester City would consider Kante as a potential long-term substitute for Fernandinho, but could face competition from Bayern, who is expected to undergo a major rebuilding process this summer.
