Former Barcelona player Adriano said his former teammate Neymar regretted his decision to leave Barcelona to join PSG.
The Brazilian superstar made a world record change at the Parc des Princes in 2017, but has since been almost constantly linked to a return to La Liga – with a future return to Barcelona, as suggested by rivals Real Madrid.
Although he is currently injured, Neymar continues to be a PSG star when he is in shape, scoring 13 goals in as many Ligue 1 games. However, questions remain about his happiness in France , especially since PSG has fallen to another disappointing output of the Champions League.
S addressing Cadena SER's "El Larguero" (quoted via via SPORT), Adriano said about his compatriot: "I spoke to Neymar three weeks ago.
"All those who played for Barcelona and who left him have regretted and I think, for him, even more than many others."
Adriano also evoked his time at Camp Nou after making over 100 appearances over a six-year period with the Blaugrana.
"My arrival in Barcelona was one of the most important moments of my career," added the 34-year-old. "I've won a lot of trophies."
Neymar is part of the very stellar front of PSG, which also includes Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani, while Barcelona struggles to really replace the Brazilian since his departure.
Since the release of Neymar, Ousmane Dembele and Philippe Coutinho have both arrived at Camp Nou. However, they were not able to reproduce the information of the Brazilian goal.
