Lewis Hamilton dominated the table in the first race of the season in Australia, followed by Valtteri Bottas.

In Bahrain, these positions have been reversed and Mercedes has had a perfect start to the season so far.

Bottas is two points ahead of Hamilton. Charles Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) are fourth and fifth respectively.

Despite their lead, Bottas is wary of Ferrari in the next two races, for a reason.

The Finnish driver claimed that Ferrari could have an advantage in China and Baku.

He said, "Do all the time in straight lines.

"The next two races, China, Baku, it's a long straight line.

"I think that they were gaining more than four-tenths in straight lines [in Bahrain], a lap.

"And we can not find four tenths like this.

"We are improving the car all the time.

"We have to look at what we can do for straight lines, but it will be difficult.

"At the end of the race, we were lucky, but it's not just luck.

"We were the most reliable car than Ferrari, and it's once again a very solid and difficult job on the part of the team."

Bottas has a good chance of winning his first driver's title this season and thinks Mercedes is a much more reliable builder than its main rivals.

He added, "Reliability is one of the key elements to winning a title and we had the proper reliability that earned us more points than Ferrari.

We are going to the third race of the year and I'm leading the championship, so it's a good place to be.

"We know as a team that we have to work a lot because we were clearly behind Ferrari."
