The season of Colton Underwood The single person was really different from any other season, as Chris Harrison had promised. As a spectator, it was exciting, stressful and very fun to watch. But how was he to watch Colton? He experienced real sorrow and stress. Imagine that you had to go back and watch some of your most heartbreaking personal moments on television once they were finished. That's what he's registered for, but it does not make it easy.
One episode, in particular, was hard to watch for Colton. The famous closing jump episode where Cbadie decides to leave the series.
In a recent interview with Young Hollywood, Colton explains what he thought as he jumped the fence.
"My thought was: go through the fence. I do not think anyone else can really get past the fence, so I will just go through the fence and go out there. I had to get out of there, "he told Young Hollywood.
"It was nice and refreshing because no one could see that. You watch the series, but behind the scenes, I'm always with a producer or a manager, a cameraman, an audio guy … and be able to gather your thoughts and feelings to really understand what's going on is so refreshing and that is what i needed. "
Watch with Cbadie's family
So where was he when he watched the infamous episode? Huntington Beach, California, sitting next to Cbadie's family.
"In fact, watching this episode, I do not know if anyone knows, I was in Huntington watching with his family. I watched this whole episode of his breakup with his family, "he said.
Cbadie and Colton watched all the "tough episodes" together
Why in the world would he submit to such a situation? Colton says that he felt that it was important to watch the difficult episodes together. He also knows how important the family is to Cbadie, so he wanted to be there when they witnessed the breakup.
"We watched a lot of difficult episodes together. Having everyone's backs helped us, knowing that we were going out together. She is very close to her family, I am very close to mine and I firmly believe that when you are together, it is our family, like a big family, "he said.
Despite their bumpy ride to where they are, Colton says the couple enjoys their story.
"We would not change the way it all happened because it showed me how much I loved him and how I loved him."
