PDS said the suspension is due to a sufficient generation
The load management program announced by Power Distribution Services Ghana has been suspended "until further notice".
According to PDS, the suspension is due to "a sufficient generation".
According to the distributor, GRIDCo ordered him to "suspend the load management program with immediate effect until further notice, as production is sufficient".
"The load management program has therefore been suspended accordingly until further notice," said PDS Ghana to a public notice.
In recent weeks, Ghana has been hit by intermittent power cuts in some parts of the country due to insufficient production capacity.
Citizens feared that Ghana would have returned to the era of incessant power outages three years later.
