Hearts of Oak suffered its second loss to the Special Committee of the Normalization Committee after being knocked out 1-0 by Karela United at Ayinase on Sunday.

Coach Kim Grant's team was looking to recover from its 1-0 loss to Elmina Sharks, but Solomon Sarfo Taylor's strike in the first half was enough to extend Karela's unbeaten title. Taylor was returning home in the 42nd minute.

Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko, fierce rival of Hearts of Oak, rebounded after his midweek loss to Medeama to demolish Eleven Wonders 3-0 at Techiman.

Fatawu Shafiu scored a free kick to give Kotoko the lead before captain Amos Frimpong headed for the net to bring the score to two. Evans Owusu put the game out of reach for the Wonders when he scored Kotoko's third goal in the 63rd minute.

Elsewhere in Dansoman, Liberty Professionals won two consecutive victories by beating the Inter Allies 2-1. Liberty, who defeated the Ebusua dwarves 4-0 last Wednesday, had a brilliant start to the game by scoring 12 minutes on Elvis Kyei Baffour.

Effiong Nsungusi Jnr equalized the score in the 67th minute, but two minutes later Simon Zibo scored the scoring goal for Scientific Soccer Lads.

Bechem United needed a second-half strike from Kofi Agbesima to defeat Berekum Chelsea while Dreams FC beat Ebusua swimmers 1-0 to clinch their first win.

Aduana Stars and AshantiGold played a draw in Dormaa. The same result was recorded in the match between Elmina Sharks and WAFA.
