The program will last five years and will aim to train people in various technical and professional fields and strengthen the capacity of educational institutions to train students and deliver internationally recognized training certificates.
The AOGC program will also provide management and business training to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and ensure the ongoing professional development of employees of various public institutions related to the oil and gas sector.
Aker Energy says the government's vision of building the capacity of Ghanaians to effectively participate in the upstream oil and gas sector is fully aligned with its own ambition to "go beyond local content" through its commitment to technology transfer. , know-how and skills to the local oil and gas industry.
