Christine McGuinness really spent hours making her Grand National outfit perfect.
But the disaster struck when she became ill the night before and could not show it off.
This little mishap would not delay his plans.
The 31-year-old woman, married to the human Paddy, went on Instagram to make sure everyone could see how good her Aintree outfit would have been.
Christine said, "I miss Devoed at Aintree for the first time in years.
"I'm looking at everybody's pictures, so I'm stuffy, I'm not here, it's our annual date and the weather is fabulous."
A few hours later, another message said, "I hate to be sick, I just do not have time to be."
On Sunday, Christine makeup posted two videos in her story to share the bright pink dress with her followers.
In the first video, one can see Christine standing in her room, dressed in a mid-length tank top that wore a ruffled shoulder.
She explained that she was defying the doctor's order to stay in bed by wearing the dress at a fashion show in Manchester.
Christine said, "So yesterday I missed Aintree for the first time in years, I was so dumped but I did not feel well enough.
"So today, I'm putting on my Aintree dress and I'm going to a fashion show in Manchester because why the heck do not."
In a second clip, she said, "I'm so happy to go out after yesterday.
"The doctor said you have to stay in bed … Hun, I do not have to stay in bed, I'm going out."
Queen of Aintree, Coleen Rooney was also absent from this year's festival and posted on Twitter after her Ladies Day parade.
She said that she was "gutted to miss it" in a response to radio presenter Pete Price.
Pete tweeted: "Every year at GrandNational, I get a picture with this pretty woman.
"I can not wait to see her, in fact, I recently met her in Barbados.
Coleen then replied, "I would have liked to go there … thanks and have fun bad"
