Kurt Zouma is happy at Everton but admits that he will not consider his long term future until the end of the season.
Chelsea's central back-to-back has been the most consistent player in a top-down campaign for Marco Silva's players and has become a key man in their defense.
Zouma made 23 starts, which would have been at least two more so he was not eligible to play against his parent club, and developed a good partnership with fellow centerback defender Michael Keane.
Everton wants to retain the 24-year-old French international, but the final decision will go to Chelsea and Zouma.
"I do not know yet. We still have five games to play and then we will see, "said Zouma to the question of his future.
"I am very happy, my goal was to play and improve and I think I have done it here, I hope we will finish the season very high."
Zouma had a new partner on Sunday at Phil Jagielka, Keane's late substitute a few minutes before the send-off against Arsenal, and was impressed by the fact that the captain of the club scored the only goal of the victory 1-0.
It was Everton's third consecutive victory and they have also kept five white sheets in the last six games, despite the change in defense configuration.
"We have more confidence and everyone defends as a unit. Now everyone understands each other, "added Zouma.
"We hold the ball a little better, our team is more compact, we defend and attack together.
"We are confident, we are playing more ahead and better and we believe, but the season is not over yet and we have to go next week to win.
"It was not difficult (to play with change) because we are used to working hard in training.
"The manager mixes the defenders and we all know each other. Playing for the first time with the skipper is good for me and it brings a good experience for us: me, Michael and Yerry Mina, so we try to take all the experience that he has gained.
"And his first goal in the Premier League this season was very important."
