Asante Kotoko said that they had begun talks with Zesco United about the transfer of key players Songne Yacouba and Emmanuel Gyamfi.
Negotiations began Monday with officials from Zesco looking to close the movement for the duo, which has contributed much to Kotoko's success in Africa this season.

Kotoko reached the group stage of the Caf Confederation Cup for the first time in 11 years, but failed to qualify after failing to win his last match against the Zambian team. Yacouba was involved in six goals (1G, 5A) while Gyamfi scored three goals.
Kotoko defeated Zesco United 2-1 in Kumasi. Yacouba helped both goals – including the winner of Gyamfi.
Unlike Gyamfi, Yacouba has not played for the Porcupine Warriors since Kotoko's exit from the Confederation Cup, fueling his impending departure.
Yacouba, 27, is the main man of Kotoko since his arrival from Stade Malien in January 2018.
Gyamfi signed for Kotoko in 2016 from Wa All Stars.
