Ousmane Dembele fined € 10,000 for leaving his home "like a garbage can"

Ousmane Dembele was fined € 10,000 by a German court for leaving the house that he was renting while he was playing for Borussia Dortmund, littered with garbage.

The French international left the German giants in August 2017 after being forced to settle in Barcelona for an impressive amount of 105 million pounds.

After sealing the move, he has never returned to his former home in Germany and has now been fined for abandoning his former home.

According to the German newspaper Bild, Gerd Weissenberg, owner of Dembele, said: "The house was a garbage can".

Weissenberg added: "The house was completely destroyed.All rooms.When I got back into the house, I had a shock.

"It's my parents' house and that's why I'm very disappointed. I'm selling the house now. "

The fine, which included rent arrears, was less than half of the € 21,000 originally claimed by Weissenberg.

But Demebele's lawyer, Horst Kletke, was shown satisfied with the decision regarding his client.

Kletke, as reported by Bild, said: "Of course, Mr. Dembele makes a lot of money, but he also has the right to be treated properly.

"We have made great progress today (with the reduced fine verdict)."

Meanwhile, Dembele is part of the Barcelona squad that will face Manchester United in the quarter-finals of the Champions League on Wednesday.

The French winger has no longer played for Ernesto Valverde's men since he was injured at the hamstring during the 5-1 win over Lyon on 16 June. last March, March 16th.
