Nana Appiah Mensah, CEO of Menzgold
The CEO of Menzgold Nana Appiah Mensah, better known as NAM 1, won his lawsuit in Dubai.
The court that ruled on Tuesday morning also ordered the company, with which he had problems, to pay him all outstanding debts, learned Starrfm.com.gh.
NAM 1 has been in the Dubai cell since November 2018 following a bad deal for gold.
Context
A Dubai-based businessman denounced Mr. Mensah for fraud in May 2018. Unaware that he was on the list of people wanted by the Dubai police, Mr. Mensah returned in the UAE hoping to receive a huge sum thanks to his previous transactions with the emirati, only to be arrested when he presented his pbadport to submit to immigration formalities.
Several clients of his former gold group have repeatedly demonstrated in Accra, Takoradi and Tarkwa, calling on the government to intervene to help them recover their blocked money.
