Honor, Huawei's subsidiary, will soon be presenting the Honor 20 Lite, a new mid-range smartphone with a surprisingly large amount of memory that will likely be well below the price of the nearly identical Huawei P30 Lite. A highlight here is the triple-cam on the back, for which Honor announces with the slogan "Triple Your Style".
The Honor 20 Lite is equipped with a 6.21-inch LCD screen, along with a small section for the front camera in which Honor hosts a 32-megapixel camera, offering at least one aperture of f / 2.0. The panel itself resolves perfectly to 2340 x 1080 pixels and thus achieves a pixel density of 415 dpi. At the bottom, there is still a narrow chin.
Honor 20 Lite
The SoC HiSilicon Kirin 710 Octacore, used since last year by Huawei and Honor, is manufactured under the hood and is manufactured in a structural width of 14 nanometers. The four high-end cores operate at 2.2 GHz, while the other four energy cores are 1.7 GHz. The chip is combined in the Honor 20 Lite with four gigabytes of RAM and 128 GB of internal flash memory, which can be expanded by microSD card slot.
On the back of the Honor 20 Lite is a combination of three cameras, with the main sensor here at least a 24-megapixel camera with f / 1.8 aperture offers. The second camera uses an 8 megapixel sensor and has a very wide-angle 120 degree optics. The third sensor solves with only a meager two megapixels and serves only for the acquisition of depth information. As usual, Honor also allows any type of AI software to optimize the images here.
In addition, a bi-band Wi-Fi compliant with the ac standard, Bluetooth 4.2 and a headphone jack are included. Honor installs three card slots on the Honor 20 Lite. So here you can use two NanoSIM cards and an additional memory card. The Honor 20 Lite battery is 3400mAh and unfortunately still charged via a MicroUSB port. The device is 7.95 millimeters thick and weighs 164 grams. Of course, Android 9.0 "Pie" is used as an operating system, in combination with Huawei's own EMUI interface.
When and how much Honor 20 Lite comes on the market, is still open. Since the device roughly corresponds to the Honor 10i model already available in Russia, its price will probably be less than 280 euros.
