The Addams family returns to his animated roots in the upcoming film. The first trailer of October The Addams family is appropriately scary and weird – and has a nice, sincere message of inclusion.

The animated comedy is distinct from the three films of the Addams family made in the 1990s and which shoot live, with Anjelica Huston, Raúl Juliá and Christopher Lloyd. This will be the family's first theatrical feature film, but certainly not their first animated or theatrical appearance. The Addams family began as a New York comic strip single-panel Charles Addams in the 1930s, before becoming a live television show in the 1960s, two separate animation shows (one in the years 70 and one in the 90s), real action movies in the 90's and a Broadway musical.

The new animated film is released on October 11th.
