The Ivory Coast remains focused on the palace and thanked Hodgson for helping him develop
Wilfried Zaha congratulated Crystal Palace coach Roy Hodgson for his comprehensive development as a footballer.
The 26-year-old has continued from last season to continue to be the most influential of the palace.

"He helped me develop my game and, as a man in general, I just wanted to be a little more patient and be aware of how I behave on the ground because of the way which this presents itself.
"He told us, when we talked to each other, that he would be happier if I did not get involved in so many altercations – and that is obviously understandable.
"But he's happy right now."
Although linked to a new long-term contract, Zaha's performances continue to link him to a club outing at Selhurst Park. But the former Manchester United winger says he would continue to respond to speculation with his feet.
"I just need to keep my head down," he added.
"I've attracted other teams to play my football, so it's not a distraction, it's a matter of doing what I do and
Young Aaron Wan-Bissaka has also been courted by leading Premier League teams and Zaha has advised him to follow suit.
"Aaron is an incredible player," said Zaha.
"I'm not surprised by speculation about him, I do not really know.

"He has to do the same thing, keep his head down, we'll see what happens."
