Premier League: Lacazette assesses Arsenal's chances of finishing above Man Utd, Chelsea and Tottenham

Alexandre Lacazette insists that Arsenal is "confident" to finish in the top four of the Premier League this season.

While there are only six games left in the 2018-2019 season, the Gunners are ranked fifth, one point behind their northern rival Tottenham.

Arsenal have thrived at home this season, but his away problems continued last week after a 1-0 loss to Everton.

Despite the defeat, Lacazette says he is "confident" of Arsenal's four best chances as they face the Spurs, Manchester United and Chelsea for the last two places.

Arsenal will face Napoli in the United Arab Emirates on Thursday in the first leg of their Europa League quarterfinals.

And Lacazette says he is desperate to progress in the competition after his loss to Atletico Madrid in the semifinal last year.

'Last season we did not manage to make it to the finals. This season, we want to go ahead and play until the end, "he said.

"We know we are better here than at home, it's really important for us, and we know we can do a good job."

Asked about Naples' strengths, the 27-year-old added, "I think he's 50-50. Napoli has a great history like us, they are second in the table.

"They play very well, they come from a powerful group in the Champions League and they were very competitive.

"It will be hard for us but we have confidence, we have to be very consistent in two games."
