The Institute for Energy Security (IES) has accused the Ministry of Energy of lying about the destruction of some electrical installations in Tema.

According to IES, the pipelines in question were filled with water and not with gas; therefore, the explanations that the destruction was causing the irregular supply of power are all lies.

In a statement, IES hopes that the Ministry of Energy will apologize without reservation to the people of Ghana.
