Parliament took the torch on Wednesday, while the chief minority bad demanded the leader of the majority.
Mohammed-Mubarak Muntaka was upset that the majority leader, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, was absent from the House all week after pleading for an extension of the meeting a week before Easter.
Muntaka expressed disappointment over Mensah Bonsu's non-presentation and warned that if an extension was later requested, she might not find the minority's blessing.
"If all the other members could cancel their programs … I thought it should also be here …" Muntaka asked.
But the MP for Mensah Bonsu responded to the request of the minority bad.

She expressed her disappointment at the minority bad's explosion, saying that Parliament operates with a structure and that the other members of the majority leadership are there to move the ship.

Joseph Opoku Gakpo, of Joy News, reported that last week, the two House leaders went to Qatar to attend a meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Qatar, but that the leader of the majority left .
Adwoa Sarfo said that the first vice-president also deals with foreign affairs and that even the president himself should join them, so the absence of the leader of the majority should not be a problem.
"The House has structures to fill the void," she repeated.
