Police have intensified investigations to solve mysteries surrounding three murder cases in the Bono, Bono East and Ahafo areas this year.

According to the police, the public needed reliable information to be able to arrest and prosecute suspects in connection with these murders.

The public relations officer of the Brong Ahafo Regional Police, Chief Inspector Augustine Kingsley Oppong, has worried about the murders in the three regions during an interview.

He said that on March 23, the police found the body of an 18-year-old Kwasi Bright in a pool of blood in Dormaa-Ahenkro.

The PRO stated that his forehead had been severely cut and that his body had since been dropped off at the morgue of the Dormaa-Ahenkro Presbyterian Hospital.

Mr. Oppong said on March 7 that an Abubakari Sadick had been arrested in connection with the killing of one Kofi Asante 48.

He added that, in this case, the suspect and three other escaping accomplices brutally badaulted the deceased on his arrival at the Sunyani Regional Hospital.

On April 5, Mr. Oppong stated that a body of a 35-year-old woman was also found in a Nyamebekyere Nkwanta valley, near Akumsa-Dumase, in Nkoranza municipality. .

He said that she had a deep cut in her throat and that a block of cement had been placed on the chest, said Oppong Chief Inspector.
