Ander Herrera will sign a free transfer agreement for PSG after the failure of negotiations on the Manchester United contract

ANder Herrera should leave Manchester United at the end of the season to join Paris St-Germain with a free transfer.

The Spanish midfielder is out of contract at Old Trafford this summer and hoped to extend his five-year stay with the Manchester club.

But Herrera and United have failed to agree on a new deal and, unless a dramatic event, the 29-year-old is about to move to PSG on July 1.

United had offered Herrera a three-year contract, which represents a significant increase in his current salary of £ 80,000 a week.

With a lucrative PSG bid on the table, Herrera reportedly asked United for more than £ 200,000 a week, which the club did not want to meet.
