Nana Appiah Mensah, the struggling chief executive officer of Menzgold Ghana Limited, currently in trouble, was arrested again in Dubai after winning a lawsuit in that country.

Menzgold public relations officer Nii Armah Amaterfio told Accra News on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 that the new arrest was at the request of the Ghanaian authorities.

"He was arrested again in Dubai. It was after Interpol's intervention in Ghana that it was investigated, "said Amarteifio.

NAM 1 recently won its lawsuit in Dubai.

The court on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, ordered Horizon Diamonds, the aforementioned company that had problems with Menzgold's CEO, to pay him all outstanding debts.

NAM1 has been under the custody of Dubai authorities since November 2018 as a result of a bad deal for gold.

He was charged with fraud.

Mr Mensah went to the UAE to receive a huge sum of money in order to pay Menzgold's clients whose investments had been stranded with the company before being stopped by the authorities of Dubai.
