– Stonebwoy has been described as a hypocrite by some social media users
– This follows the reaction of the musicians to the first statement of NAM1 after his release from a Dubai cell
Dancehall's musician Stonebwoy has been criticized on social media for his reaction to the first statement of Nana Appiah Mensah, Menzgold's boss, after winning the Dubai trial.
Menzgold's boss, better known as NAM1, reportedly went to a Dubai cell since November 2018 following a gold transaction that went wrong. A Dubai-based businessman had declared NAM1 for fraud in May 2018.
Unaware that he was on the list of people wanted by the Dubai police, Mr Mensah went to the Emirates hoping to receive a huge sum of money because of his previous transactions with the UAE, before being arrested when he presented his pbadport undergo immigration formalities.

He was later tried by a court for the operation which would have cost millions of dollars.
Since his arrest, NAM1 has been disconnected from social media. But he rebounded on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, after having the news fired that the Dubai court had ruled in his favor and ordered the other party to pay him all outstanding debts.
A few hours after the announced victory, NAM1 seized his Instagram account to publish his own photo.
The legend of the picture read, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever."

One of the first people to comment on the position of Nana Appiah Mensah was Stonebwoy who reacted with emojis from an eagle and a power.

But Stonebwoy's quick reaction did not quite satisfy some social media followers who called him a hypocrite.
@ wofa_19 began the speech on hypocrisy: "@stonebwoyb you are very hypocritical .. what did you do to support him when he was gone..is only shatta "
@_reggie_flex agreed that Stonebwoy was a hypocrite: "@ wofa_19 u are right … very hypocritical "
@ananse_kwakuu was more general;"Ghanafoc does not hypocrisy … they act as if they loved you … Mr. Nam kindly let our innocent mothers have their money."
But many others have defended Stonebwoy by claiming that he could have supported NAM1 behind the scenes.
