The musician Gasmilla calls for the unity of actors of the music industry to advance the sector.

Speaking at Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, the artist said the lack of unity would be the death of the industry.

"Every year, Nigerians bring a new dance. With the new dance comes a new song. No matter who brings the dance, Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy and everyone else will join the trend that helps sell the song and dance to the world, "he said.

Gasmilla lamented that Ghanaians not to support them as much.

He told Andy Dosty, host of the show, that artists and DJs do not understand that, when they help themselves, they help the sector to grow.

The artist explained that if a dance is from Jamestown, the people of Volta can ignore it because they do not like it first.

The director of Telemo added that he knew DJs who did not play artist songs. According to him, the DJs consider that these artists are impolite or ungrateful.

"I tell them, if you do not play their songs, you kill your industry and build somebody else. " As a DJ, your songs will not be the biggest thing in the world. You will not get concerts, nor the artist, so we all suffer, "he said.

Gasmilla said that if everyone was interested or investing in the music industry, was doing something little to support each other: they were selling the country, music and their brand to the international.

He added that it was not just about developing the industry, but also promoting Ghanaian sounds.

"We just have to be united and know that if I do it for you, I do it for myself, "he said.
