Let Kristin Cavallari be almost-TMI honest about the new mamahood.

On a mid-season teaser for his show, Very CavallariKristin talked about badfeeding with her friends. More specifically, the frustrations – and apparently, the new level of intimacy between wife and husband – go hand in hand.

"I had major clogged ducts," said reality TV star and founder of the jewelry line Uncommon James. "Jay had to take them out for me, suck harder than ever before," his friends responded with shouts and laughter.

"You know what, [Jay] I saved my life, "she added.

"Clogged ducts" refers to blocked milk ducts, which prevents the milk produced by the mammary glands from reaching the bad (and therefore the baby). This is a fairly common and often painful problem: a 2011 study found that 4.5% of badfeeding women had blocked ducts at some point during the first year.

Even though an obstructed duct is not usually as life-threatening as Kristin says, if it is not treated, it could evolve into mastitis, an inflammatory bad infection requiring antibiotics, according to Medical News. Today. (Sudden fever or chills usually indicate a problem.)

The ducts may become clogged when the bad is not fully drained – which is why the sucking of her husband Jay had to help. But it should be noted that the typical remedy is less, ah, graphic: soak in an Epsom salt bath, apply a heating pad (probably to warm and move the stuck milk), mbadage the bad and – a bit strange – badfeeding on all fours, so gravity can help the milk to flow again.

As a long time fan of Kristin (and, I suppose, Jay Cutler), I am personally delighted that she and her bads, as well as her baby, are fine. But the image of Jay taking things in his own lips (heh) will definitely stay with me forever, much like her "Steee-PHEN!" voice.

If you are curious to watch more, Very Cavallari return to E! this Sunday at 22h ET.
