The Walt Disney Company has finally unveiled the application of its Disney + streaming service, which is scheduled to launch later this year, at an investor event Thursday. The company has also confirmed some new exclusive series to the paid subscription service, as well as some technical details.
At the time of the press, prices and exact dates of release were not announced yet, but Disney has alluded to a launch window confirming that Captain Marvel will have its first Internet broadcast on Disney +. If the company sticks to recent trends, it would make the Disney + public arc in 4-6 months.
In anticipation of the event, rumors were reported of a large series affiliated with Marvel that revolved around the Hawkeye hero. Instead, Disney has confirmed a series in the Disney + "Marvel" tab titled Falcon and winter soldier while showing the service interface. No footage has been shown of this series at the time of the press, but the characters will be performed by their actors MCU, Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan.
