Anthony Crolla and Vasyl Lomachenko both gained weight before their World Lightweight title fight on Friday night.

Crolla is a huge outsider against the Ukrainian superstar, world champion of the three weights, who defends his lightweight WBA and WBO belts in Los Angeles.

On Thursday, the boxers clashed for the last time before the fight night. Both men weighed under the 135-pound limit, Crolla rocking the heavier 4-ounce scale to 134.8 lbs.

"Thanks for all the support of everyone," Crolla wrote on Twitter after crossing the last hurdle before the fight.

The former WBA champion is now faced with the unenviable task of trying to dethrone Lomachenko, a former outstanding player who is now considered one of the best fighters on the planet.

Crolla is as wide as 44/1 to win with a bookmaker but the Manchester fighter insists he's ready to "shock the world".

Both men weighed under the 135-pound limit, with Crolla tipping the heavier 4 oz. To 134.8 lb.

"I have never considered abandoning this fight. If I did, I would be in the wrong sport. I know how difficult it is going to be, but I believe in my abilities, he says Sportsmail.

"My dream was to become world champion and I always thought that I could be it. I would be lying if I said it seemed likely at the beginning of my career, but I always believed in myself and people laughed at me for having this faith.
