A list of the presidency in Parliament reveals that 957 people are currently working at the Jubilee House.

The list was presented to the House by President Akufo-Addo, in accordance with Article 11 of the 1993 Law on the Office of the President (Law 463).

The President is required to report annually on the staffing of the President's Office.

On the list, there are currently 10 ministers of state in the presidency.

The breakdown also reveals that 28 staff members of the presidency and 254 other junior political members work at Jubilee House.

This brings the total number of political appointees to 292, and also includes 665 civilian and public sector employees.

This comes after 998 people were listed as presidential workers in 2017.

At the time, the list had aroused public outrage, with some hinting that the staff was too numerous.
