Thursday night, three Chelsea fans were denied entry into the Slavia Prague stadium for their quarter-final match of the Europa League. It was about an alleged racist song about the Liverpool striker, Mohamed Salah.

Kick It Out released a statement on social media confirming that they would work with the Premier League club.

We do not want such fans to get closer to our game. We will liaise with Chelsea to ensure that those involved are identified and punished quickly and effectively.

Chelsea also said to be "worried" after the release of a video before the match showing fans chanting the slogan "Salah is a kamikaze". Those who were identified were subsequently denied entry to the Eden Arena in Prague.

The club issued a statement confirming that it would take "the strongest possible action" against the supporters involved.

These people are embarrbading for the vast majority of Chelsea fans who will not tolerate them in their club.

Liverpool is also attacked with "dangerous and disturbing" behavior and "vile discriminatory songs directed against one of our players". They will work with the police in Chelsea and Merseyside on the issue.

"This behavior must be called for what it is: pure bigotry," said a statement.

"The Liverpool Football Club believes that it is incumbent upon those in positions of authority, following the appropriate procedure, to urgently act to identify and then punish whoever commits a crime motivated by the hatred."
