At the launch of the creation project of an era in Tamale, deputies representing the different constituencies of the regional capital were clearly absent.

It is unlikely that they do not know that such an important event was taking place in Tamale. Indeed, it was a real reversal, knowing the level of hatred of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) with regard to such projects. This project is exceptional, a legacy of someone who is not a member of their party – that changes the game into images. their backyard.

Ghanaians, especially our compatriots in Tamale in particular, and in the Northern region in general, should appreciate the elements that make up those who claim to represent their interests in Parliament.

Regardless of political trends, we must all come together when development issues challenge us to get the blackboard drawings to the stage of implementation.

We do not see that in the direction of the NDC; we are lost for words by describing our compatriots on the other side of the aisle without compromising their integrity. It would seem, however, that under the circumstances, there is no option to regard them as a group of hypocrites for whom development is inferior to their parochial partisan interests.

All political parties worthy of the name should be more concerned with the whole, namely the national interest. However, when the order is the opposite, we can only ask the people of this great country to disregard the insignificant messages of the NDC as mere untrue lies, especially during the election campaign.

Many Ghanaians wondered what motivated the MPs' decision and, in this regard, the NDC to do what they did. Unfortunately for them, their indifference did not in any way block the project as they wished. Their absence rather revealed them unworthy of the deference badociated with the exalted positions they occupy.

State functions, such as the launching of development projects, are occasions in which party colors must be concealed and national events must instead be festooned over trees and surrounding structures. This presupposes that the CND has departed from a national norm, allowing its uncontrollable hatred of the president and his government to overwhelm them. How sad!

One thinks of the non-patriotic acts of destroying public goods in the course of the overt and secret operations of a political group. The juxtaposition of audio leaks, recent acts of vandalism and the orchestrated absence of a major state function speaks volumes.
