Shortly after Huawei introduced the new flagship products P30 and P30 Pro in Paris, the Chinese officially announced the Huawei P30 Lite. The cheapest version offers a triple camera, a 6.15-inch (15.62-inch) display and artificial intelligence (AI).
The focus is on the selfie camera. With super portrait mode, selfies have to become real portraits. Thanks to KI, the 24-megapixel front camera is able to recognize not only the people in the foreground, but also what lies in the background. In addition, a super-selfie night mode provides the best results even under unfavorable lighting conditions, as Huawei says in a message.
On the back, the triple camera is composed of a 48 megapixel wide angle lens, an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle lens and a 2 megapixel lens. The latter provides information on the improved bokeh effect that can blur the background of photos.
The video recording comes with the super slow motion feature, which offers an idle recording capacity of 16 times and a UHD recording capability.
The 6.15-inch dew drop screen is resolved to 2312 × 1080 (FHD +). The camera comes with a 3D curved glbad and a narrow frame. Inside, a Huawei Kirin 710 processor works. On the memory side, 128 gigabytes of usable RAM and 4 gigabytes of RAM are available. If the storage space is insufficient, the Micro SD card can hold up to 512 gigabytes.
In addition, the P30 Lite comes with a 3340 mAh lithium-polymer battery and a QuickCharge charging feature. According to the manufacturer, the battery should be able to standby for 293 hours and provide talk time of 21 hours.
For music lovers: There are five levels of sound enhancement, a 3D surround sound effect and a free headphone upgrade.
In Germany, the Huawei P30 Lite will be available from May 8 at a suggested retail price of 369 euros in the colors Peabad Blue, Midnight Black and Pearl White. When the P30 Lite is available in Austria and at what price, it is currently unknown. Anyone making a pre-order from April 24 to May 7 will receive free Huawei FreeBuds Lite (value: 129 euros).
