Ghana to play Cameroon, Benin and Guinea Bissau at CAN 2019
The Ghana Black Stars got a very tough draw in 2019 after being matched to reigning champion Cameroon in Group F.
The Black Stars will also face Benin and Guinea Bissau, which are the other countries in the group.
The Black Stars faced Cameroon for the last time at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations, where Ghana lost 2-0 to the Indomitable Lions in the semifinals.
The Black Stars have not won a title in the CAN since 1982 and now have to negotiate a complicated group before dreaming of reaching the final of the competition.
The Egyptian host received a relatively easy group after being paired with DR Congo, Uganda and Zimbabwe in Group A.
Nigeria, one of the favorites to win the tournament, will face Guinea, Madagascar and Burundi in Group B.
The tournament will start from June 21st to July 19th.
