BLACKPINK has just entered the history of K-pop in the UK!

On April 12, local time, UK Official Charts announced that BLACKPINK's new album, "Kill This Love," made its debut at number 40 of the official album leaderboard of the week from April 12 to 18.

According to Official Charts, BLACKPINK is now the only group of Korean girls – and the only second Korean artist in the world – to have ever had an album in the top 40 of the standings. "Kill This Love" is also only the fourth album of this feat (after "Love Yourself: Her", "Love Yourself: Tear" and "Love Yourself: Answer" of BTS).

BLACKPINK also made its debut 33rd on the official singles table with its new title "Kill This Love", beating its previous chart record.

The girls' group has already scored twice the history of the official charts last year – after becoming the first group of Korean girls to enter the official singles chart with its hit song "DDU-DU DDU-DU" , BLACKPINK became the first group to enter the Top 40 chart with "Kiss and Make Up", their collaboration with British singer Dua Lipa, which peaked at No. 36.

Congratulations to BLACKPINK for his impressive achievements!
