Acer introduces Chromebooks with numeric keypad

Acer announced Thursday two new Chromebooks for the professional market. The Chromebook 715 has a 15.6-inch screen, a backlit keyboard and a digital island. There will also be a 714 version with a 14-inch screen.

There are not many Chromebooks with numeric buttons. Some models of the Chromebook 715 will come with a touch screen. The notebook has a thickness of 17.9 mm and weighs 1.8 kilograms. The Chromebook 714 has a 14 "display and is slightly thinner and lighter at 17.7mm and 1.5kg.

Both models have a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels and an aluminum case. Acer comes with 8GB and 16GB of RAM, as well as 32GB, 64GB or 128GB EMMC memory. The choice of processors is the Pentium Gold 4417U, the Celeron 3867U, the Core i3-8130U and the Core i5-8250U. On both sides of the laptop, there is a USB 3.1 Gen 1 generation port. There is also a USB 3.0 port and a micro SD card slot.

The Chromebook 715 and 714 will be marketed in June from 550 USD.
