Meet the incredible blind couple married for 40 years

Two visually impaired Ghanaians may be enjoying deserved praise after the announcement of their 40-year marriage worldwide via Facebook.

They say that love is blind, but there are not two people who could have said it better than Augustine Marfo and Juliana Agyeiwaa, two visually impaired couples married for 40 years.

The couple's story was posted on Facebook by sports journalist Saddick Adams. Mr. Marfo and his wife apparently met in the 1970s and have been married for 40 years.

The couple has four children, including an adopted child of the deceased sister of Agyeiwaa. And perhaps most surprisingly, the couple never had a housekeeper.

Recounting the story of their meeting, Mr. Marfo said, "There was a group known as the Blind Association of Ghana (GAB).

"It is now the Union of the Blind of Ghana (GBU). A person with a visual impairment is welcome. So we were presented at a meeting of the ATM. We made a friendship and worked together for the good of the group.

"Later, we became close." Asked why he was attracted to his wife among all members of the ABM, Mr. Marfo replied, "I must say that it is the work of the Lord."

But, Ms. Marfo said that when Mr. Marfo approached her, she thought he was joking. It would take a long time before she came.

The first of their children is 33, the second 29 and the third 27. None of them has any vision problems. Mr. Marfo said that he was not born blind, but that he was still a toddler, he became ill and this affected his sight.

To demonstrate that he is able to take care of himself, he operated his television by changing stations.

Obviously, it grants for entertainment and information via the sound.

For his part, his wife is able to cook even with the help of sharp kitchen items like knives.

As the video shows, it's something she's done for a long time. This pair looks made for each other. The couple says that they are happy together. And it may not be far from the truth.

These are two people who have never seen each other. They only felt, felt and agreed.
