Former President John Dramani Mahama said that the late Lee Tandoh Ocran was an INREPENTANT NKRUMISTE and a true comrade.
Former President Mahama reported it during the last funeral rites of the late Lee Ocran in Nawule, Jomoro Municipality, Western Region, on Saturday, April 13, 2019.
He also expressed concern about the departure of Lee Ocran and therefore said Lee Ocran was a very principled person.
The late Lee Tandoh Ocran, former member of Parliament for Jomoro, pbaded away on Thursday, February 21, 2019.
The former high commissioner in South Africa and former deputy of Jomoro died on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 37 Accra Military Hospital. Mr. Ocran allegedly fought the disease for several days before killing him.
He was 74 years old and left three children.
He was buried in his official residence in his hometown, Nawule, in the municipality of Jomoro.
He was a Christian and worshiped with the Roman Catholic Church.
At his funeral, former President John Mahama, the current leader of the NDC, revealed that "… Lee Ocran was an unrepentant nkrumist and I knew that I came from the nkrumist family, I I became a close friend, we became friends in East Legon ".
He continued "… Of course, we know what Lee Ocran's work has done not only for our party but also for us when we were in government, he has held many positions and his vision."
He testified that "there was a particular incident during which, at the height of the energy crisis, a problem had to be solved, so I called him and some members of his council." The funeral rites of the late Lee Ocran brought many politicians from all political divisions to Jomoro and these politicians shared love and a great sense of unity.

Lee Ocran's Profile
