Game of Thrones has managed to make his audience cry before even a single word is uttered in episode 1 of season eight tonight.
After two years of waiting, it immediately became apparent that all the time and money was well spent while the fantastic epic staged a truly magnificent new sequence of titles, laying the foundation for what had been promised as the most spectacular TV event going on.
The first issue was filled with nostalgic signs of the seventh season, including the epic battle in the North and the destruction of the Wall.
Despite Sophie Turner's insistence on this Season 8 trailer that saw The Starks less Brand explore the crypts of the family, the graves have resurfaced and something tells us that they will play an important role in the five last episodes to come.

Tonight's return to the epic fantasy was full of delicacies for fans, with just about every reunion we had been waiting for for two years to materialize almost immediately.
We sobbed when Jon Snow (Harington Kit) rushed to his not so small brother Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) a few minutes before the eighth season, while Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) was found face to face with Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) for the first time since she fled King's Landing following the pbading of King Joffrey (Jack Gleeson).
The winter is here and we are born ready for it.
Game of Thrones season 8 continues next Sunday on HBO and will air simultaneously on Sky Atlantic. Seasons 1-7 are currently available in streaming on NOW TV.
