Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, president of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), who is appearing in court, is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday to answer charges of conspiracy to harm and badault a public official. Mr. Ofosu Ampofo refused to comment publicly on the audio that would have been tampered with.

When he went to CID headquarters on Monday, March 4, 2019, the audio was broadcast for about 30 minutes, after which he was asked if it was his voice, but he declined to comment on the audio , includes Graphic Online.

He was formally arrested and charged with the threat of harm and conspiracy to harm a public official. He then proceeded to write his statement.

After that, he was released on bail of an amount of 400,000 Gh ¢ with two sureties.
