The chief of Techiman Traditional Zone, Nana Oseadeayo Akumfi Ameyaw IV, said that the inhabitants of the newly created Bono-East region, including those of Techiman, Kintampo, Nkoranza, Atebubu, Amantin, Yeji and Abease, will continue to express their gratitude to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

According to Nana Oseadeayo Akumfi Ameyaw IV, the chiefs and inhabitants of the region have always pleaded for the creation of Bono East and appreciate the fact that it is granted under the presidency of Nana Akufo-Addo.
