Vulture details Unsafe I will not be coming back until 2020 because Issa Rae has become very busy and in great demand. HBO's head of programming, Casey Bloys, revealed these details: "Well, Issa has become a big movie star!
"We're not the first place to deal with this issue, but when you're in business with very creative and talented people, people have many more opportunities to do things. Issa, I think, in part, wanted a break to come back cool, "added Bloys.
Issa Rae currently plays alongside Regina Hall and Marsai Martin in Little, which has just been shown in theaters. HBO executives expect Insecure to return to our screens in the same way that it left in 2018, filled with hilarious dramas from Issa, Molly, Lawrence, Dro and the rest of the cast we love.
