MEST Africa announced that the MEST Africa 2019 Summit will be held June 10-12 in Nairobi, Kenya.
In a statement issued Monday, April 15, MEST announced that the summit – to be held in conjunction with Microsoft – will be held at the Radisson Blu Hotel and the MEST Africa incubator in Nairobi, Nairobi Garage.
This annual summit, now in its fourth year, brings together leading entrepreneurs, investors, ecosystem players and leaders from Africa and around the world to explore the latest innovations and founders of the emerging technology community. from the continent.

The MEST said that this year's edition will build on the exponential growth and diversity that has seen the scene of African startups over the past 12 months.
At the summit, the opinion leaders will debate the latest challenges and opportunities of the African technological space, including the impact of artificial intelligence and machine learning on the mainland workforce.
Other topics to be addressed include the role of technology in setting up a more energy-efficient Africa, as well as how creative use of data enables financial inclusion on the continent .
Confirmed speakers include Jorn Lyseggen, Founder and CEO of Meltwater, Microsoft Senior Director for Africa, Chris Langwa, Andela Strategy Director, Wambui Kinya, GSMA Market Strategy Director, Martin Karanja, Lead Launchpad Africa's successes and services, Fola Olatunji David, IDEO.org Managing Director Tosh Juma, co-founder and CEO of Flutterwave, Olubenga Agboola.
The summit will also host the finals of the MEST Africa Challenge 2019, with the regional winners AMPZ.TV, OZÉ, Snode Technologies, WayaWaya and Seekewa to try to earn up to $ 50,000 in equity investment, a place in a MEST Africa incubator of their choice and comprehensive support to help their business scale.
