Going out for dinner can be difficult if you stick to a strict diet or if you watch for calories.
Sometimes the healthiest thing on the menu is actually covered with hidden calories or salt.
George Hamlyn-Williams, Senior Dietitian at Hospital Group, knows how difficult it can be to take a closer look at the menus of some of the UK's favorite restaurants.
After reviewing the deals offered at 10 different restaurants, including Nando's Harvester, TGI Fridays and Pizza Express, he has compiled a list of the healthiest products you can order.
He said: "We know that dining out can be a challenge for people watching their weight, often looking directly at the salads section of the menu – but that does not really need to be so.
"Many menus now offer a wide variety of dishes, ranging from low-calorie to high-protein, you just need to know what to look for."
