Two private equity companies acquired a 20% stake in 3fivetwo healthcare.
The amount paid by 57 Stars and Foresight Group has not been disclosed.
However, companies have described it as a multi-million pound contract.
3fivetwo owns private hospitals located in South Belfast and Sligo. This investment will allow the group to provide additional capacity in its hospitals and add new specialty services.
Suresh Tharma, co-CEO of 3fivetwo, said investors had supported the desire to create "a leading healthcare company in the world".
