Barry Jenkins' Amazon series, inspired by Colson Whitehead's book The Underground Railroad, is beginning to take shape.
Variety learned that the cast will be directed by Thuso Mbedu as Cora, with Chase W. Dillon as in Homer and Aaron Peter as Caesar. "The Underground Railroad" tells the story of young Cora as she tries desperately to free herself from freedom in the south of Antebellum.
