What happened to the kids with all this? | Exclusive feature

A quarter of a century ago, Nickelodeon All that created, a deliciously teenage alternative to long-running skits like Saturday Night Live and The children in the room. From April 16, 1994 to 2005 (with a few years break between the two), All that was the happy little brother of SNL, his exuberant group of slimy kids spreads from one sketch to another with the kind of contagious energy you expect from your little brother who does not stop fighting in the backyard.

He did not have the occasional political bite of SNL or the expressionist absurdism of room (Well, it was a bit like that), but the time of the series was filled with recurring and grueling characters that the children could tell. All that has had the nose on lame adults in the same way as the children of more "adult" sketch shows, which is why characters such as Good Burger's Fat Cop and Ed are engraved in the collective memory of a generation of children of the 90s.

The success of All that some of its members have been propelled to celebrity status while others have followed different careers or have done yomane work elsewhere on big and small screens. (And the show would have planned a long-awaited restart.) 25 years later All thatIn preview, we look at some of the most famous members of the cast and see what they have achieved. (We know that Nick Cannon and Gabriel Iglesias were cast members in subsequent seasons of the series, but you know who they are.)

LORI BETH DENBERG

While the adults had Dr. Phil, we had the vital information, a rough draft of advice delivered by All that superstar Lori Beth Denberg. In addition to spicing up the sketches with her take-no-prisoners energy, she also showed us the danger of being a lousy librarian.

Since All thatDenberg found herself working on an occasional TV show (notably as a Steve Harvey's show), throughout the 2000s, occupying different Malcolm in the middle and make cameos in movies like Dodgeball: a true story of oppressed. She is also an ordained pastor and will be happy to officiate your wedding if you want to get vital information for your wedding.

Last seen: Denberg went on a 2018 episode of the rebooted Dare doubly see the Kel team face the Kenan team.

AMANDA BYNES

We can say that the biggest star to come out of the All that The story of Amanda Bynes is also one of the most tragic. After hitting big with All that, Amanda's show and What I like about you, then going to the movies with Huge liar and She is the manBynes fought against drug addiction in the years 2000 and 2010. Bynes public breakdowns over the last 20 years are well documented, but it has remained largely out of the public since 2014. However, last month, Bynes reportedly "relapsed" and went to a mental health facility. Whatever happens in Bynes, we certainly wish him good luck.

Last seen: His last movie role before taking an indefinite break in the theater was in 2010 Easylike little Marianne.

KENAN THOMPSON

While the star of Bynes shone brightly, that of Kenan Thompson is perhaps the longest. One of the few All that members of cast to switch from minor to majors, Thompson currently holds the record for the longest service SNL member of the cast of all time (15 seasons!). In addition to that, he has starred films like Fat Albert and the All that spin off, Good burger (with Kel), voices made for great studio films like The grinch and Wonder Parkand made a million other television shows and secondary roles. I guess one of Super Dude's most neglected superpowers is his work ethic.

Last seen: Every week on Saturday Night Live.

KEL MITCHELL

For All that fans, Kenan and Kel were our Abbott and Costello, our Laurel and Hardy – an irrepressible cartoon duo whose talents have expanded to their own spin-off, Kenan & Kel, where, let's just say, Kel had some … affection for the orange soda. Although he had a brief touch of fame in the back of All that with Good burger and Mystery Men, Kel Mitchell star did not take off in the same way as Kenan. Even so, even in 2006, a deadly hoax on MySpace did not prevent him from working fairly regularly in the 2000s and beyond, even on smaller projects such as The Asylum. Los Angeles War, Battle * of * Los Angeles. Still, it's nice that he's back to his roots in Nickelodeon with Game Shakers, a show that has been running regularly since 2015. (In addition, it co-produced the film All that restart with Kenan, so maybe we'll see a Good burger meeting?)

Last seen: Like Double G on the Nickelodeon series Game Shakers (where he also provides the theme song).

DANNY TAMBERELLI

Nickelodeon was incredibly kind to Danny Tamberelli; not only was it a staple All thatbut he played in The adventures of Pete & Pete and was a regular on Nick's panel Figure It Out. Despite its ubiquitous status on children's TV screens, All that gave us some of the most captivating moments of Tamberelli, of Fat Cop, while consuming, at the time of the recovery of "Vital Information" of Denberg during the revival of the series.

We talked more about Tamberelli in our Pete & Pete editing this column (and even talking to him, as well as to Maronna!), but in summary, he found a fantastic niche with his aforementioned podcast and his band Jounce. (He even reunited with Pete & PetePolaris at Lincoln Hall a few years ago for a nice evening with Consequence of the sound.)

Last seen: On his podcast The adventures of Danny and Mike, with his compatriot Pete & Pete alum Michael Maronna.

JOSH SERVER

The only All that Cast member to stay during the six original seasons of the series (before the relaunch), the comic comics of Josh Server made him famous as the group's cute. He also stayed largely in the Nickelodeon family like many alumni, making appearances in Drake & Josh, Sam & Cat, and Decommissioned Ned Survival Guide. Moreover, apparently, he likes his abs as his lettuce – jagged.

Last seen: Outside a couple All that appearances at the meeting, his last major role was a recurring pbadage in the canceled criminal series of Amazon Good girls revolt in 2016.

ALISA REYES

While one of All That’s lesser-known players, Alisa Reyes was always a welcome addition to whatever sketches she was in, whether starring opposite Denberg as one half of a pair of sisters stranded on a desert island in “The Island Girls” or as Tinsel Teeth in “Walter the Earboy” sketches. Since All That, she’s done guest stints on everything from NYPD Blue at Six Feet Under.

Last Seen: The voice of MoMo on the first season of the Netflix original kids musical TV show Da Jammies.
