Genesis Unveils Mint EV Concept for Urban Fashionistas

[ad_1]

Prior to the New York Auto Show, Genesis unveiled its mint car. The small two-door electric vehicle was, of course, green. But its style and short wheelbase make it perfect for urban environments where you will be judged for your fashion and style choices. I suppose.

According to Genesis, the small car will have an estimated range of 200 miles and will allow a fast charge up to 350 kW. It's a concept because the numbers are somehow invented. But they could be a good indicator of a small EV potential that the builder could introduce in a few years. In addition, if you navigate in town, you do not need a range greater than 200 km. If a car supports a load of 350 kW, it will enter and exit quickly from a charging station.

The back of the car is interesting. Instead of a traditional hatchback, a pair of doors opens like a supercar. It's weird and makes no sense for a cargo area and it's also awesome. But I never want to see him on a production car.

Manfred Fitzgerald, Global Head of Genesis Brand, said: "Mint belongs to the city and we are proud to present to you our evolution of the ideal city dweller in New York."

The Mint itself will probably never see the light of day, but in a world where electric crossovers are becoming the norm, it's nice to see that a small two-seater car is in the minds of some Car manufacturers.
