Yaw Baah leads the nuclear power plant research team | Policy

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has appointed Mr. Yaw Baah, Senior Partner of the law firm Sterling Partnership, chairman of the party's research committee.

Mr. Baah, former Member of Kumawu Parliament in the Ashanti region, is also a member of the NPP's oversight committee.

The appointment was made in accordance with Article 10 (3) of the constitution of the nuclear power plant.

Mr Baah chaired the Parliament's Legal Affairs Committee during his parliamentary term.

He also represented the Ghana Parliament on the Georgina Wood Committee, the National Media Commission and was the sole representative of the Ghana Parliament to the ACP-EU Joint Parliament in Brussels (Belgium) between 2006 and 2008.

Mr. Baah, who was formerly the young NPP organizer in the UK and Ireland during the NPP's training years, is currently a senior member of the Danquah Institute (DI).

He brings his rich experience of Parliament and the United Kingdom.
