Paris St-Germain missed his chance to win the Ligue 1 title on the third attempt as he was 3-2 against Nantes.

Thomas Tuchel's team drew 2-2 against Strasbourg and sank 5-1 against Lille in their last two games, while they could have won the title.

Dani Alves' superb shot from distance gave PSG the advantage in the 19th minute.

But Diego Carlos scored twice, from either side of Majeed Waris' goal, with Metehan Guclu scoring a late consolation goal for PSG.

Kalifa Coulibaly could have scored the fourth goal for Nantes, but missed an open goal, Gianluigi Buffon being well out of his zone.

PSG still have 17 points ahead of Lille, second, with six games to play, and can win its sixth title in seven seasons when it beats Monaco on Sunday.

They can also win the double against Rennes in the final of the Coupe de France on April 27.
